This all-day café occupies a surprisingly light and airy basement in a sweeping crescent of whitewashed Georgian townhouses and offices opposite Cheltenham’s central bus station. Rustic exposed-brick walls and tiled floors are offset by contemporary white tables and lime-green seating, all of which adds to the informal, friendly vibe. Local produce dominates the menus here, whether it’s breakfast of English muffins with organic Barrington Park Estate eggs and smoked salmon or a light lunch chosen from the list of antipasti, burgers, salads, club sandwiches etc. You can also drop in for afternoon tea: loose-leaf blends are supplied by Bristol’s Lahloo, and tins are available to purchase from the café’s own pantry. In summer, the small courtyards at the front and rear offer plenty of alfresco opportunities.
