Bell's Diner says ?

A cornerstone of the Bristol dining scene since opening in 1976, Bell's Diner offers an innovative menu from one of the city's most celebrated chefs, Chris Wicks. Exploring a passion for the sous-vide art of cooking, where seasonal ingredients are gently cooked for long periods at low temperatures, Bell's is renowned from its pioneering approach to dining. Guests can complement the wholesome and colourful menu with a choice from the eclectic wine list, filled with biodynamic bottles which are renowned for their wonderfully clean flavours.

Wine List Of The Year Finalist

Printed on the kind of brown paper normally used for packing onions, the list for this Bristolian eatery (which is based in an old pub) oozes with personality. Cheerful and homespun, the 50 wines have lively, personal tasting notes, and the wine selection is very well priced and hearteningly brave, with Bulgarian Rkatsiteli and amphora-fermented Armenians rubbing shoulders with Navarran Grenache and Mount Horrocks Riesling.
