Tucked away on St Georges Road in Brighton, this quirky eatery is an affordable and relaxed spot renowned for its fresh modern Euro menu created by chef Nick Lang. Always packed with local foodies, La Marinade has a chic dining room decorated with pale lemon walls, blonde wooden furniture and lots of natural light which is suitable for working lunches and romantic evening meals. The menu here is bold and flavoursome – our favourites include the seared local scallops with Spanish black pudding, mixed leaves and a sweet balsamic; tagliatelle pasta with fresh mixed mushrooms in a creamy sauce with deep-fried crispy parmesan shavings, spinach and truffle oil; and the homemade ice cream with brownie caramel sauce.
