Square Meal review of The Hawley Arms:
A Camden boozer hasn’t seen this much press attention since The Good Mixer was the place to hang out in the glory days of Britpop. The reason certainly isn’t the average surroundings (the first floor is a little more stylish than the trad pub ground floor), but the frequent sightings of Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss, Johnny Borrell & a slew of MTV presenters. In summer, the skinny jeans & trilby crowd throng the roof terrace, necking pints of Greene King IPA or Hoegaarden & munching on mugs of Wotsits. Drown out the gawping celeb-spotters with a tune from the jukebox.
