Grolsch, Bud & Kronenbourg; wines from £12; Flatliner & Slippery Nipple shooters; £6 Cosmopolitan cocktails; panini or ham, cheese & chorizo platter – The Roxy is hardly cutting edge. But the student/first-foot-on-the-career-ladder crowd that inhabit this funky, laid-back Noho basement like it that way. There’s a roster of club nights spinning indie, punk, rock & commercial sounds, plus drinks offers such as two-for-one lagers & £7.95 pitchers of Zombie, Tequila Haze & Stoned Peach: prophetic titles given the well-oiled state of some of the crowd by 3am when the place tips out.
