The antithesis of high-street burger chains, Hamburger Union strikes just the right balance between fast-food outlet & relaxing sit-down cafe. Smarter than your average burger joint, it’s frequented by workers & tourists, who are attracted by the likes of the Monterey Jack & bacon cheeseburger or citrus-marinated char-grilled haloumi burger. There are occasional grumbles over the quality of sides, but on the whole this is a great pit-stop.
