Square Meal review of Tradewinds:
St Katharine’s Dock is one of the City’s finest arenas for summer dining & this newcomer capitalises on its location with beautiful terraces & a garden overlooking the water. Formerly the St Katharine’s Yacht Club, the revamped, elegantly designed restaurant serves up a contemporary mix of cuisines: a starter of roasted chicken tikka brochettes with a minty yoghurt & cucumber sauce might be followed by roasted sea bass with braised red cabbage & timbale of long & wild rice, with rhubarb crumble to finish. Despite the chi-chi setting amid sumptuous yachts & luxury flats, prices are reasonable, especially at lunch when a three-course set meal clocks in at £19.95.
