Square Meal review of Fox @ Excel:
The barn-like proportions of the Fox mean it’s not really the place for a quiet cosy drink with friends. Located on the main thoroughfare between the Excel centre & the nearby DLR station, there are numerous levels & large rooms to pile into once the exhibition halls have closed for the evening. Downstairs in the huge cavernous main bar there are TV screens showing sporting events, a jukebox & doors leading to an outside terrace. Burgers & sandwiches are available in a goldfish bowl-like dining room in one corner.
