Less of a well-kept secret than it used to be & deservedly so, this dim sum gem across the road from fashionable Exmouth Market is always worth a detour. Essentially a pub with grub, albeit with added Chinese elegance, it keeps beer lovers & foodies equally happy, serving up a globe-trotting range of brews next to food from a chef who used to cook at the Dorchester’s now closed Oriental Restaurant. Dumplings are light & flavour-charged & the menu changes every two months, offering a limited choice of noodle & rice dishes for those not wanting to go the dim sum route.
