Still a go-to venue for the King’s Road smart set and assorted glitterati, this glamorously refurbished Will Ricker joint struts its stuff with high ceilings and sexy, understated decor, while the well-versed pan-Asian menu delivers plate after plate of modish flavours for affluent palates. All the usual grazing suspects are here – from dim sum and sashimi through to tempura, BBQs and salads – and everything is prepared with discernible skill. To whet the appetite, order some prawn and black cod gyoza, spare ribs and seared tuna with miso aïoli, before tackling Korean lamb with kimchi, claypot chicken or a jungle curry of barramundi with green beans and physalis. Service is sharp and cool, while paper tablecloths and chopsticks in tins underpin the easy-going vibe. If you're making a night of it, retire to the ‘fun' bar for some trendy Asian-themed cocktails.
