Put on your dancing shoes: this Caribbean playhouse is home to one frenetic bar, where rum cocktails provide the fuel for a night of booty shaking to bass-heavy beats. More than 270 rums find their way here, & come mixed into potent concoctions such as the Koko Kolada (with pineapple & nutmeg) & the Million Dollar Daiquiri (with mint, cane syrup & Champagne). With happy ‘hour’ 5-7pm daily, the nights start early. Food almost takes a backseat, though you can order dishes from all over the Islands in the three topsy-turvy dining rooms. Naturally, jerk seasoning makes numerous appearances, but there’s also Bajan fish fritters, Trinidadian seafood curry & beef pepper pot. Grumbles over slapdash cooking & idle service suggest the bar is Cottons’ soundest asset.
