The name may make it sound like a cheap & cheerful canteen, but this is a restaurant proper, albeit with slightly shabby furnishings. With lunch offers for £4.95 & a reasonable priced a la carte dinner menu, it’s still a great choice for a casual bite. There’s a decent selection of spicy soups, Asian salads & fragrant stir-fries & curries, along with seafood & meats from the grill. All meat can be replaced with bean curd, which makes it an especially good choice for veggies, too.
