The Maroush family of restaurants (Ranoush & Beirut Express as well as branches of Maroush itself) has its roots in London’s bustling Edgware Road, where it all started in 1981. Since then, the group has spread its brand of belly dancing, Lebanese pastries, exotic juices, late nights, shawarma wraps & much, much, more across a swathe of select postcodes. Ranoush & Beirut Express are the faster, funkier scions of the parent brand, but all are known for consistently good mezze, grills & salads, with soujok (Lebanese sausages), fattoush (toasted bread salad), kibbeh (lamb meatballs with cracked wheat) & assorted kebabs among the greatest hits. From breakfast until the wee small hours, there will be a Maroush to feed, water or amuse you, but check specific locations for details of opening times, licence, entertainment & so on.
