‘It’s NOT only rock and roll but we like it’ is the message at Sticky Fingers – a loud, brash and unashamedly riotous venue originally conceived by ex-Rolling Stones bassman Bill Wyman. The menu has been given a revamp, but many hits from the back catalogue are still there to be drooled over: popcorn shrimps, sticky wings and Big Apple hot dogs now share the stage with an all-new burger line-up, slow-smoked beef short-ribs with slaw, mac ‘n’ cheese with spinach or catfish fillets with fries and pickled mayo. For those on a gut-busting weekday bender, the Blue Plate special is a great-value, all-in combo of Southern fried chicken, fries, chicken salt and BBQ pulled pork beans served with a beer. Drinks cover all bases, while a hotchpotch of rock memorabilia adds to the kitsch, good-time vibe.
