More an adjunct to a takeaway than a restaurant proper, a trip to Hot Stuff for a sit-down meal is rather a bleak experience. Even so, the laminated commendations for its cheapness displayed on the wall are accurate. Plus the food’s alright, especially the nice stuffed paratha & vegetable curries. The brightly coloured tables & chairs do less to cheer the place up than liquid supplies from the off-licence next door.

The food at Hot Stuff is quite simply some of the best-quality and most authentic Indian cooking in London. Service is always friendly, prices are ridiculously low, and the atmosphere is always buzzing. Highly recommended.
