What was self-styled ‘cantina chic’ Como 3 has been born again as Tinto – a wine bar and kitchen with a strong Mediterranean accent. Crisp surfaces, exposed concrete, humorous drink-related artwork and vintage wine crates set the tone, while big blackboards spell out the week’s special offers from off-the-beaten-track vineyards – as well as off-piste cocktails such as a Yamazaki old fashioned made with Japanese single malt. The food comprises a lively hotchpotch of tapas-style sharing dishes ranging from pork gyoza, grilled quail, various sliders and burgers (try the crab and tarragon version) to the house special of chorizo lollipops. You can also get various deli boards loaded with cured meats and cheeses including idiazabal and mahon. Well-placed for quick catch-ups, pre-theatre bites, business meets or romantic dates.
