Fresh from its success in Beirut (and more recently Soho), BRGR.CO is following London’s careering burger bandwagon with the launch of a new joint in Chelsea. Burgers built from 28-day aged Buccleuch beef come in three sizes (up to 8oz) and are supplemented by a medium-rare ‘butcher’s cut’ and a couple of veggie alternatives, with five sorts of chips to choose from (‘regular’, ‘messy’, parmesan truffle etc). Starters might bring crisp buttermilk onion stacks or mac ‘n’ cheese, while the drinks list touts homemade lemonade with a choice of spirits, plus a handful of wines and American Huber beer. Also look out for the ‘character cow heads’ created by local artists/celebs, which will be auctioned off for charity each month. No bookings, but takeaways and local deliveries should suit deskbound workers and locals.
