Established on the King’s Road way back in 1962, the Chelsea Kitchen is now firmly ensconced in its new home hard by Fulham Broadway tube station and the headquarters of Chelsea FC. From the
outside it looks like a pub, with high arched windows and ornate signage, but the interior makes its populist foodie credentials clear with rows of bare tables, long banquettes, painted pillars and
an all-day menu that trawls the world for easy-priced satisfaction. Come here if you’re a fan of spag bol, curried eggs, Mexican chicken, liver and bacon, battered fish or salade niçoise – all
tastes are catered for. You can even round things off with a couple of scoops of Italian ice cream or a banana split. Tea and coffee are standard, and you can have booze if you’re eating. Takeaways
