What was originally Bohème Kitchen & Bar has been rebranded by the Soho House Group as a West End outpost of Notting Hill’s Electric Diner. The result is an on-trend haunt that muddles American diner chic with mismatched gastro-cool – think studded red chairs, tiled floors and vintage plates alongside wood panelling, low armchairs and sofas. Laptop tappers, tourists and the post-work crowd congregate here for all-day bites of grilled ham and cheese fingers, sweetcorn fritters, jalapeño croquettes and honey-fried chicken, plus all-American sandwiches, burgers, dogs and salads. You can also fill up with bigger plates of mac ‘n’ cheese, baby back ribs or grilled salmon with butternut squash and almonds. Cocktails include signature Martinis, and there are plenty of wines and beers too – note that the bar is open until 3am (Thurs-Sat). Brunch and Sunday roasts also please the weekenders.
