A lot has happened to this iconic clifftop mansion since Lord Byron spent his honeymoon here back in the day. Chefs have come and gone, but the place is about to enter a new era with the arrival of
moustachioed Baltic giant Martin Blunos and restaurant manager Ross Grieve (formerly at the Chester Grosvenor). Serious meals now take place in Ozone – a brasserie-style eatery with
floor-to-ceiling windows, a spherical outdoor terrace and an open kitchen dealing in pan-Asian food. Dip into a menu that covers a lot of ground from Chinese-style pork ribs and Szechuan crispy
beef to Filipino-style rolled chicken with mango sauce or deep-fried sea bass with tamarind sauce and Thai herbs. Blunos is also putting the final touches to his Sea Grill, which is expected to
offer locally caught, sustainable seafood supplemented by various meaty options.
