After a good but busy kind of a week, it felt fitting to take some time out and go out for dinner. The location of Pescatori was at the quieter end of Charlotte Street, away from the many other eateries.The initial vibe that I got when I first entered Pescatori was that it felt very welcoming. If you like seafood, you’ll been in heaven here. The menu is lengthy and a rather delectable read. There are plenty of non-fishy dishes listed (steak, pasta, risotto …), but if you go for anything other than the seafood and fish options you’ll miss out on what this place does best. I love my starter course of cannolicchi (three west coast razor clams, £8.95) from the raw bar as well as my main course of coda di rospo (pan roasted monkfish tail with n’duja and almond crust and zucchini scapece, £22).
