Spanish food importers and tapas specialists Ibérica are building on the success of their eateries in Marylebone and Canary Wharf with this sixth site near Victoria station. Broadly following the original formula, some new features include more emphasis on the bar and a Spanish breakfast menu offering homemade churros. Otherwise, tip-top regional ingredients form the backbone of the menu, from rustic breads, artisan cheeses, charcuterie and peasant-style tapas staples such as croquetas and tortilla, to more modish creations courtesy of Michelin-starred executive chef Nacho Manzano. There’s a top-drawer list of directly imported Spanish wines from boutique growers, and some eye-catching new interiors devised by Barcelona-based designer Lázaro Rosa Violán.
