About

Pop by the traditional Spanish restaurant and tapas bar, Evuna Northern Quarter and enjoy a rich cultural dining experience. Walking into the quaint brick-clad restaurant in Manchester, you’ll find a warm brown and red colour scheme, welcoming diners in. Everywhere you look, find intricate patterns reminiscent of Spanish heritage. Find some of walls covered in decorative tiling or ornate chairs with carvings into the wood, contrasting against modern plating and industrial lighting, giving it a very fashionable feel.

Open from midday on most days, Evuna NQ invites guests to share in the Spanish experience at one of the only tapas bars in the Northern Quarter area while sipping on an authentic Spanish beer, the Alhambra. They also pour a range of imported Spanish wines, which are brought in from family-run vineyards and are what they are known for.  If you want to spice up your vino, order a jug of traditional sangria, mixed with Spanish brandy, orange liqueur and Vermouth.

The tapas style of dining means you can pick a few dishes and share them across the table, filling up on smaller portions as well as tasting more of a variety, and at Evuna, you get to choose between cold and hot tapas. For colds, try the chorizo ibérico or the Caralan tomato and garlic bread. For hot tapas, we love the look of the vegetarian croquettes or garlic and chilli half seabass. The pancetta asada is also a stand-out dish with roasted pork belly, carrot puree and caramelised orange. See what is on the dessert menu of the day, but a slice of almond cake with lemon sorbet is always a winning choice.

Evuna runs a lunch special every day where you can choose a choice of three tapas and pair it with a glass of house wine, the first of which is discounted. We recommend the hot chorizo cooked in Spanish wine, the chorizo al vino tinto, potato omelette, or the Padrón peppers, also known as the Pimientos de Padrón.  The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and also has a dedicated children’s menu.
