It was time for another burgerquest, and Bukowski Grill’s Box Park location was just the ticket. A quick glance at the menu online revealed a handful of intriguing options plus the ability to build up a burger from scratch. Given that it was Box Park, seating was extremely limited inside but they guided us to grab a seat on the outdoor tables and relax with a beer under the heat lamps. The staff were friendly and quirky, and it’s fairly impressive how they manage to serve up so many burgers from a kitchen that’s smaller than my closet. Bukowski Grill's website claims that their "Josper grill" can cook burgers in record time – and to be fair the Purist burgers did arrive pretty quickly. Evidently the chef was having a better time of it than the waitress. However, their promise of sealing in the flavours wasn't so evident. It was a decent burger, but nothing I could even really string a sentence together about. Bukowski Grill is found in Shoreditch and Brixton offering up charcoal grilled burgers! New to London, we are discovering where to find somewhere that offers originality and a product thats great value for money.
