Archangel says ?

Formerly a medieval coaching house, the Archangel now does duty as a boutique hotel, restaurant and bar with a free-floating glass mezzanine ‘cube’ for private dining. By contrast, the dining room blends ancient whitewashed walls with Italian mustard-yellow chairs and hand-made lights high up on the beams – an atmospheric setting for food that looks to Europe for most of its inspiration. Beignets, salads and pasta are supplemented by dishes such as duck confit, ham hock and foie gras terrine or pan-fried sea trout with potatoes Mimosa, buttered leeks and sweet pepper dressing, while dessert might bring dark chocolate and marmalade tart with yoghurt sorbet. The zinc-topped Archangel bar with its huge Renaissance murals is equally good for coffee and cake, a hot sandwich, ritzy cocktails or a pint of Gabri-ale from the Milk Street Brewery in Frome.
