One of my favourite pastimes in the summer is taking an evening stroll around the lake at Walton Halland then having drinks on their croquet lawn. It's so close to my home in England that I've never stayed at the hotel. I imagine it's rather priceybut if you fancy some country manor luxury, I'd definitely recommend it.It's a popular place for weddings too and I can see why - the building is beautiful and dates back to the 16th centuryand has a lovely old English romantic feeling to it.
