illustrated menu. Sharing is the way to go in this high-ceilinged, canteen-style venue – so roam Mumbai’s Chowpatty beach for aloo papri chaat, samosas and bhel-pooris, visit Aminabad for kebabs
and tandooris or head to Charminar market in Hyderabad for excellent biryanis. Also check out the ‘drums of heaven’ (chicken-wing lollipops), Keralan fish curry or slow-braised duck breast ‘amras
amrit’ with coconut sauce and mango. To drink, there’s a decent choice of wines and some perky cocktails including tamarind and basil martini or instant karma (a spicy take on Long Island iced
tea). There are a few tables outside for sunny days on King Street.
