The third branch of Hush is clearly aimed at time-poor City workers and time-rich tourists, serving up an accessible mix of British and European classics in a smart, slick space. Early birds can
enjoy complimentary coffee and newspapers with their eggs Benedict or Bircher muesli (‘slippers available on request’), while the all-day menu could feature starters of zingy salmon tartare with
chilli and lemon oil, or rich pulled pork with apple and Calvados served in a Yorkshire pudding. Straightforward, well-cooked mains range from a succulent piece of roast cod with béarnaise sauce
and fries to flavoursome taglierini pasta with lobster, chilli and garlic, alongside half-a-dozen lighter options. English high tea is served every afternoon, while the drinks list is a
well-balanced mix of beers, wines, classic cocktails and bespoke spritzers. Sprightly service is a bonus.
