Notting Hill’s Caribbean soul lives on in Boom Burger, a rude-and-ready fast-food joint beneath the Westway that blends Jamaican attitude with a show-stopping menu. It’s a tiny, no-frills site,
with an open-kitchen, utilitarian booths and Rastafarian colours allowing the first-rate burgers (served in plastic baskets) to take centre stage. The perfectly pink, spiced beef patties, topped

It’s nestled in a tiny unit on Portobello Market row and from the outside looks like nothing. Inside has a couple of booths and a large open fry kitchen which you order straight from. The menu is small and burger-centric: 3 different burgers...
