We knew of this steak restaurant but always have been a bit wary of chain steak houses so never made the effort to go. However we had agreed to meet a friend for lunch in Borough Market who suggested Black and Blue. Now this would not be my lunch location as I prefer a lighter lunch than a big ‘ole hefty steak but we were sure there would be lighter options (which indeed there were.). Each Black and Blue restaurant is noticeable because of the giant model cow standing on the roof – yes I know I am not putting this in the best possible light to start but bear with me it does get better.It was a warm day and as these are a rare occurrences in London we asked to sit on the terrace. Inside the restaurant it is light and airy with a large bar in the centre. Brass handles, mirrors and black and white colour scheme gives this restaurant a modern steak house feel...
