100 Wardour St (Restaurant & Club)

Good place for one visit but I would not return to it, necessarily. Food and Drink were overpriced in my view but the service was great. Not very good value for money but the atmosphere was quite fun. If you are out of other options, it is worth giving it a go

Food decent as always although preferred the pre Covid menu. 

Great ambience as per usual. 

Booked this place for a surprise party for my husband and the service and food were terrible. I planned the party a month before my husband's birthday and every single day there was a new challenge by them. At first they said all 30 guests had to have the same food and they couldn't possibly accommodate more than one item of food on the menu for every person. I finally got them to agree to do one vegan option and one non-vegan option but it didn't come with ease. I then asked what kind of table we would be sat at so that I can arrange a table plan and they replied saying they couldn't let me know what table I was sat on until 20 mins before the reservation. Again there was a lot of back and forth and they kept putting me in touch with different people and it all became very confusing, with each new person having no handover from the previous one.  Finally they let me know it would be a square table. This actually wasn't the case when we got there. It was one long rectangular table with two separate circle tables at both ends and they were quite far away from the rectangular table so wasn't ideal. 

The day of the party, my guests weren't allowed on the table a second before the actual time and when they stood up to shout "surprise" the bouncer immediately came over and said that if we didn't sit down he would kick us out. 

Once we were all seated, I was immediately hassled by one of the wait staff about booking a private room and he would do a "special discount" for me but it wasn't really. A bottle of Smirnoff ice cost £200. So, no thank you. Even when I said no, he would not leave me or my guests alone constantly trying to sell us this private room. 

The meal was super expensive for what we got and it really wasn't good. The soup was cold, the bread came out after everyone had eaten, someone said they were severely allergic to peanuts and their dish still came with peanuts. They also placed about 37 bottles of water on our table and when I said nobody drank the water they still made me pay for it. 

We only had the table for about an hour and a half before they kicked us off. I had brought a cake and left in the kitchen for them to bring out towards the end of the meal and they never did. They said we took too long to eat for them to serve the cake. They wouldn't even give me back the cake (which wasn't from their restaurant) until I said I wouldn't leave without it. 

Anyway, there were lots of other issues that I won't get into because this is getting too long now but it was the worst service I have ever experienced. Till this day I'm livid with myself for not asking them to remove the service charge from the bill.
