Towards a Fluid State

towards_a_fluid_state2.jpgTowards a Fluid State is an ambitious, unconventional tasting event taking place on 5 December in a warehouse in Dalston. Working with a number of cutting edge drink and food producers, the team behind The Tasting Sessions is embarking on this larger-scale event with characteristic style.

With a number of sessions throughout the day, visitors can choose to participate in any number of innovative ‘fluid encounters’, each focusing on a particular drinks category, with food to match. Music and art will also feature throughout the day. A recent preview included tastings of aged sake and biodynamic Champagne, as well as some molecular mixology.

The Tasting Sessions founders Angella Newell and Hayley Sudbury have confirmed that December’s festival is just the beginning for this new Fluid State, with a much bigger event in the works for summer 2010.
