streetxo.jpgSpanish chef David Muñoz, who holds three Michelin stars at his restaurant DiverXo in Madrid, has announced plans to open a London restaurant in June.

Modelled on the Madrid original of the same name, street-food-inspired StreetXo will open in Mayfair, becoming Muñoz’s first restaurant outside Spain.

Offering all-day eating, the dishes at London’s StreetXo will be influenced by street food which Muñoz has encountered on travels around the world, including South East Asia, but will be rooted in traditional Spanish cuisine. He will also take inspiration from London’s own dynamic food scene.

A short menu of 12-14 tapas-style plates for sharing will be bolstered by a trolley which will circulate the room serving one-off creations from the kitchen, while the restaurant will also feature a large bar area serving an inventive cocktail selection.
