Check out these exclusive pictures of the new Zebrano, opening in the City in October…
When a City hospitality director gets together with his pals to open a restaurant-cum-bar you’d expect them to look to home turf first, so it comes as a surprise that Zebrano has taken this long to reach the City. It's the third venue of the group, but this one has serious added value with a go-to restaurant alongside the glossy bar we’ve become used to in the Soho and Carnaby branches.
The modern menu is peppered with starters including scallop ceviche with avocado, cucumber and apple salt or salt-baked celeriac with Dorstone goat’s cheese, cob nuts and caramelised pear. Follow it with roast loin of hare with hunter’s pie or braised fillet of brill with a chorizo crust, sure to satisfy the most voracious of appetites. If it all sounds rather tempting, get a party together for the Chef’s Table, where you can enjoy a seven-course tasting menu paired with Taittinger champagne (but maybe wait until after trading hours).
