Check out these exclusive pictures of new French restaurant Bandol, opening in Chelsea this October…
This Chelsea newcomer (younger brother of the roaringly successful Margaux a few minutes up the road), aims to bring some southern French flair to the capital.
In the generous spirit of the Riviera, the menu is designed for sharing, with lots of tapas-sized dishes as well as great bowls of red mullet and tiger prawn bouillabaisse. Other dishes include yellowtail tuna carpaccio with pomegranate, crispy shallots and honey and citrus vinaigrette, or confit duck with braised lentils for a feast with friends. Round off dinner with tastes redolent of the south: fig tart or thyme ice cream.
The wine list has its heart there too, so expect plenty of, um, Bandol, and there’ll be plenty of choice by the carafe and glass too.
Bandol don’t have a website yet, but you can follow @margaux_bandol on Twitter and don’t forget to check out our Coming Soon list for more London restaurants and bars launching soon
