New Covent Garden restaurant Mabel's has opened its doors. The bar and restaurant, in the former Jewel Covent Garden space, is open for brunch, lunch and dinner with drinks in the Den until 1am.
Dishes range from avocado on toast for brunch to fish and chips or half a smashed chicken served with salt-baked potatoes, fennel and apple slaw. There’s also a bar menu featuring the likes of cheese and meat boards, small pizzas and burgers. The cocktail list includes classics and signatures such as Tarte Tatin, made with Sipsmith vodka, calvados, pressed apples and caramel syrup.
Mable’s is part of Novus Leisure, which operates 46 venues, including Jewel Bar Piccadilly and Babble Mayfair.
