THE IVY

COVENT GARDEN

It’s like a very grand, familiar friend’s dining room. It’s terribly welcoming & comfortable. Even the first time you go there, it feels incredibly warm. I love the variety of the menu, from the Welsh rarebit to the Thai-infused fish.

J SHEEKEY

COVENT GARDEN

I’m a big fish eater – sustainable, of course! I love the fact that you can order off the menu – it means I can have my fish with an immense amount of garlic! Like The Ivy, it’s very familiar & welcoming. I love the separate rooms – there’s something very seductive about it.

OSTERIA BASILICO

NOTTING HILL

My food of choice is Italian, & I love the family-friendly feeling about Osteria Basilico. You get proper portion sizes, & there’s absolutely no fancy stuff. The kids love it too.
