 | Ive been to both venues and Altitude 360 is 100% the winner. The views from Altitude 360 are really amazing. Where else can you look down at the London eye, Big Ben and the houses of parliament. Also Altitude 360 holds so many more people than the Gherkin. Check out this view… altitudelondon.com/html site/photos.php

 | Captain Haddock( 30s, Female, United Kingdom )I agree – the views from Altitude are hard to beat, but the Gherkin just wins for me purely because it's such a fantastic building and has that stunning space in the apex.

 | Kaprow( 30s, Female, London )I agree with Captain Haddock. Altitude wins best view (you're so much closer to the main sights) but the space itself is more impressive at the Gherkin. Both have really nice catering.

Posts: 1 | Timo S.( Over 60, Male )I checked on the websites and they both look amazing! Whats the situation with number of guests at these two places. I have a big function I need to hold in December for 450 for a cocktail reception. Both look great but is one more suitable than the other? Amazing Views… Cant imagine how beautiful London would look covered in snow from one of these locations!

 | Hi Timo – thanks for your comments. For a group your size, you're looking at Altitude as 30 St Mary Axe ('The Gherkin') only takes 250 guests 30 St Mary Axe 4030. Altitude 360 can take up to 600 but it won't feel too big for 450 Altitude 360 - London

 | Suzanne W.( 30s, Female, United Kingdom )I really like the views from Paramount, that new members' club at the top of the Centrepoint building. Also there's a new bar called Attic over in Canary Wharf which I think is run by Inc Group, very sexy at night and you can get right up against the windows, scary for someone with vertigo!

 | Andrew W.( Over 60, Male, London )If you can get in to it try the BT Tower. I am sure it's now exclusively for the use of BT and / or their associated company's buy wow it is amazing!
