 | Kaprow( 30s, Female, London )I like a Christmas party where the food is anything but traditional – you don't want to tire of turkey before the big day! How about curry? Great for a group as easy to serve (family-style with help-yourself-bowls on each table, perhaps) and most people like it.

 | I stopped doing Turkey a few years ago. Family hated it. A stunning rib of beef from the butchers is such a treat and is very popular. Rub Colemans mustard powder into the fat along with some Maldon sea salt and bung in oven! Used to serve duck also… Google Delia Smith's famous duck with cherries recipe, its actually really lovely.

 | Gentleman S.( 20s, Male, United Kingdom )How about carp. My Polish friend does it every year: goes to the local river, pulls and four or five big carp and cooks them for xmas dinner. job done.
