 | Miss Cherry Pie( 20s, Female, United Kingdom )Is any area of London preferable? I have heard that Green & Red is good but it's not very central, and there is Café Pacifico. Or as it's a surprise does it have to be a Mexican restaurant? Somewhere like Smollenksy's has a super atmosphere and no doubt has Mexcian dishes on the menu. Having said that Wahaca is fantastic. If there's a large group of you I would get there early.

If you want a more upmarket Mexican meal, try Mestizo – the restaurant also has a bar downstairs which I think you can hire…it really depends on the size of your party and the area you want to be in!
