Does anyone know of a good spot to hold a dinner for about 20 guests after the Games this summer? It needs to be near the stadium but not a business/conference venue – I'm looking for something with a bit of character.

Hi Sue – you're probably all booked up now but I would head to Hackney if I were you.

There's lots of lovely gastro pubs, amazing Vietnamese restaurants, Viajante is in Bethnal Green, lots of great choices on Broadway Market too. Can't say the same for Stratford! Unless you head into the Westfield site where there's loads of restaurants but not much character.
