Nomad Food & Design introduced an interesting new concept at an event hosted by Triggerfish PR last night: the DIY molecular gastronomy. Guests got to dip lemon meringue pie into liquid nitrogen to create their own frozen desserts. Looks like we've discovered the chocolate fountain of the ‘teenies’. Coming soon to a party near you…

That sounds like a great idea for a small party. Can you hire the nitrogen vats from Nomad directly? or are there companies specialising in this kind of thing?

Just checked with Nomad and they bring all the equipment you need. I'm loving this idea! Used to be a fan of chocolate fountains but they're everywhere these days. Time for something new!
