Christmas party for 180

(menu)

Any suggestions on where we could have a Christmas party this year – 180 people for a sit down dinner and dancing in the West End or West Central side of London?

Have been to Roof Gardens, Meza and Bluebird in the past, and now looking for somewhere new for this year. I've sent out a few requests for information already, but want to be sure I haven't missed anywhere!

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I prefer not to book parties at hotels – a previous experience many moons ago at the Dorchester gave me a taste of hotel ‘mass catering’ – not good!

Hi Jojo

Try these two:

Christmas at the Hc

Christmas at the Grand Hall

Hope this helps

Naughty Simon – you shouldn't be plugging your own parties on here (see the rules-of-conduct) but, we agree, the HC (Christmas at the Hc) would be a good venue for that group.
Jojo, have a look at our Christmas Party pages for more inspiration – you'll find venues arranged by all sorts of categories in the left-hand column. The ‘advanced search’ is also a useful tool. squaremeal.co.uk/christmas

The Grand Hall and HC and other such venues really don't do it for me (to be honest, they make me think of decorated sheds!) – this is why I prefer exclusive hire of a restaurant.

I think I must have looked at every page in the venues section so hoped someone could recommend somewhere to me where they've either organised or attended a good party for a similar amount of people.

How about the new Hakkasan in Mayfair? I bet you'd need a big budget to take it over exclusively but the space is gorgeous. Sketch do great parties too but, again, very expensive.

Try Altitude 360 or their new venue Altitude Black. Amazing views of London. They also have a venue called The River Room which over looks the thames. AltitudeLondon.com
