 | Naughty Simon – you shouldn't be plugging your own parties on here (see the rules-of-conduct) but, we agree, the HC (Christmas at the Hc) would be a good venue for that group. Jojo, have a look at our Christmas Party pages for more inspiration – you'll find venues arranged by all sorts of categories in the left-hand column. The ‘advanced search’ is also a useful tool. squaremeal.co.uk/christmas

 | Jojo( 40s, Female, United Kingdom )The Grand Hall and HC and other such venues really don't do it for me (to be honest, they make me think of decorated sheds!) – this is why I prefer exclusive hire of a restaurant. I think I must have looked at every page in the venues section so hoped someone could recommend somewhere to me where they've either organised or attended a good party for a similar amount of people.

 | Kaprow( 30s, Female, London )How about the new Hakkasan in Mayfair? I bet you'd need a big budget to take it over exclusively but the space is gorgeous. Sketch do great parties too but, again, very expensive.
