We need to get more northern places on to squaremeal.

Squaremeal is far too London centric. I know there are more restaurants and more good restaurants down there but at least if the places ‘up’ north were on the site we could review them so people know how good they are. Come on northerners, get recommending your favourite eateries.

I agree! We're based in Witney, Oxfordshire and we get quite a few ‘Southerners’ in as they love our gluten free options. We'd be delighted to get more reviews and give more too!

Square Meal was originally a London restaurant review magazine, which I guess is why the capital features most. It's some job (and expense!) sending people all around the country, but over the years I have noticed more and more restaurants are being featured further afield.
