 Posts: 1 | i joined this group just to say what a night i had last saturday at the farmhouse in canterbury. i went along for a night out with friends and they had the most amazing funk soul djs playing. the mad thing is i didnt know it was a restaurant as well serving the most amazing local food. we partied til 2am but went back for brunch the next day. they actually bake their own bread! and muffins! i though it would be horrible eating in the same place that i had a few too many the night before but it was like a completely different place! how they get it so clean and fresh smelling/looking in so few hours i dont know! apparently the roast beef goes in the night before and roasts slowly all night, they bake bread every day and all the food comes from within a 20 mile radiusand its not too 'spensive either! felt a bit sorry for staff though – same guy serving me over the bar the night before was making me coffees at noon! anyhow couldnt beleive the place isn't on the web anywhere so felt i had to join up tell everyone. i've now booked tickets for the james taylor quartet in december and a table for dinner – food, music and few drinks what more can you ask for! plus the interior design in awesome! love it.
