Im looking to organize a dinner in London with a bit of wow factor. Any ideas? I want something brand new that my friends would not have been to.

Have you got a budget?

Hakkasan Mayfair certainly has your wow factor and opened up just before christmas.

Another obvious suggestion would be Heston Blumenthal's new restaurant Dinner in Mandarin Oriental. Doesnt open until Jan 31st and is fully booked for a couple of months but would be worth the wait.

Newly opened Savoy Grill, now under Gordon Ramsays control, serves excellent food and has excellent service and you can tie the trip in with a drink in the American Bar.

Hi

If you're looking for a New York style bar/restaurant with an arty wow factor then try the Foundation on Langley street. They only opened on the 15th Feb so it's all brand new. See foundation-bar.co.uk for details.
