 | We agree that such comments are irritating and of no benefit to anyone. Our house rules state that neither restaurants, nor their agents and associates, are permitted to write reviews about themselves or their clients. We take appropriate action where necessary, and where closer inspection reveals an abuse of these rules.

It's totally annoying – I don't even read reviews here anymore, most of them are fake anyway (grunt, mumble). Christopher J, may I recommend some excellent bloggers such as Londoneater, Eatlikeagirl and Dos Hermannos. At least you know there is no sleeping editor behind their reviews that allows this phoney baloney. Or the top few foodies here should just get together and do their own blog.
