Can anyone recommend interesting or novel places in London, to go and experience a traditional English “Cream Tea”. Or perhaps a place with a modern day spin on the idea.

Hi
I would suggest The Wolseley for grandeur & glamour and Sketch or The Haymarket Hotel for a modern and quirky setting.

to be honest, London has many good food places from north to south and east to west. You can get decent food places in every culture especially Indian, Chinnesse, Greek, Italian and obviously English.. Ive always liked places that are good with Milkshakes likes Tinsel town as their smoothies are untouchable. Last week I went to see my sister in Manchester and we ate at an Indian restaurant called Taj palaces restaurant, I must say that Taj Restaurant is the best indian restaurant in Manchester and Oldham. I was surprised how good this restaurant was compared to most of them in northwest. While we were dining, there was a wedding going on in the next hall, we also got a glimpse of a traditional indian style wedding while we were there. I would like to see something similiar to taj Palace Oldham opening in London because it is not just a restaurant but also a wedding hall and an exhibition centre.
