Best Sunday lunch for a big group?

Hi Guys,

I have been enstrusted with the unenvious task of choosing a resturant for an entire group of friends for a Sunday in December. There will be a lot of us and as always peoples budgets range dramatically!

Ideally, I'm after an excellent gastro pub with either a room upstairs or the capacity to seat 20odd and with a set menu of around £25 a head, it will be a very laid back affair.

Location wise we're looking for central – up to Kings Cross area.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
V

Have a look at The Portman in Seymour Place, just by Marble Arch. Their small upstairs dining room is very cosy looking, I had a look up there when we went in for a drink last week.

I think you can check out Grange St Pauls as its a stunning place. moreover, you will get the best of facilities and services. Rest, explore The City Collection for such amazing restaurants.

I am organising a group lunch next month in the same situation and have booked The Electric Brasserie in Notting Hill which I went to for a family birthday luncheon earlier in the year. Very resonable for the quality of food, service and the place itself. Good buzzy atmosphere too. Great area too for wandering around after and a good central location which isn't too manic.
