The Spa Boudoir at The InterContinental London
Hyde Park is actually made up of two separate rooms: a one-bedroom suite and an adjoining ‘spa bedroom’ with a fold-away bed that makes way for a massage table. Both boast views towards
Hyde Park Corner and combine to offer no less than four loos and bathrooms – including one with a luxurious extra-large spa bath and ‘rain shower’ – all brimming with lovely Elemis
toiletries.
The resulting feel is more luxury Mayfair apartment than hotel and we loved hanging out in ‘our’ spacious living room before heading off to bed, knowing that we’d just have to pull on our slippers and shuffle next door for our pre-booked morning massages (all included in the £2,000 24-hour package that also extends to Champagne and canapés, breakfast and use of the hotel’s personal butler service and Club InterContinental facilities). The room can also be booked in blocks of four hours for groups wishing to enjoy drinks, canapés and mini spa treatments in privacy (from £500).
